1987-2011 2005 Facet's Violet by Prince of Prussia (ATA) 2003 Phoebe by Grandios (Deceased before Inspection) 2001 Encore by State of the Art (PtHA) 1999 Zeus by Leonidas (Deceased before Inspection) 1997 Meeko by Art Deco; Premium 1995 Cealco by Art Deco; Premium Facet was problematic as a riding horse as a result of a back injury sustained at a very young age. She, however, found redemption in her career as a broodmare. Her second foal, Meeko, first won several High Point Championships with Irena Coz and then served as a spring board to launch Katie Johnson's journey into the international Grand Prix dressage arena. Facet's final progeny, Violet, has produced many competitive Hunter Jumpers and Dressage horses. Facet lives on through her daughter and her daughter's daughters!

She was bred by David Wilson and is a full sister to two Grand Prix dressage competitors, Robin Garrett's Grand Ballerina and Laurie Falvo's Grand Jovi. All her foals have three excellent gaits and an outstanding Adult Amateur type temperament.

2003-2021 2016 Superman KC by Sternlicht (USEF# 5662729) 2015 Sternenklar KC by Sternlicht (deceased) Nina was born here at Kastel Coz, in pasture, mistaken for a flake of hay! She was sold as a yearling and went on to successfully train up through 3rd Level dressage with the same owner. Nina was then sold again and began a second life as a Three Day Eventer at which she excelled. She came full circle when her owner reached out to me and offered me right of first refusal, and so she came home! She was bred in 2014 to Sternlicht and had a stunning colt, Sternenklar aka Batman. We were so pleased with Batman that Nina was immediately bred back to Sternlicht. Tragically, Batman was found deceased with a broken neck as a yearling just prior to the birth of his virtual clone, Superman KC aka Ethan. Ethan has turned out to be SPECTACULAR and is living his best life under his Adult Amateur owner's tutelage. R.I.P. Grand Bella NIna, you are gone but most certainly NOT forgotten!

1998- 2022 2010 Zulu Masquerade by Wedderlie's Mardi Gras (Half Welsh) Yoyo Mae was an experiment, coupling my two Heart horses: Hobby and Bandit. For several years we had tried to get a Pinto warmblood from the Art Deco lines to no avail. This pair produced that elusive flashy coloring! Yoyo was no slouch as a mover and dressage competitor, never receiving a score less than 70%. She was sold to a friend and went on to be her daughter's Children's Hunter until circumstances arose and my friend sent Yoyo back to me for "indefinite storage". So, of course we bred her and she produced the most striking pony filly by Wedderlie's Mardi Gras, Zulu Masquerade aka Kelkel.
Kelkel went on to be sold to the amazing Zephyrus Welsh where she was successful on the 'Pony ' Show Circuit. Yoyo became a much beloved companion to the Ranch matriarch Gabrielle who is now 37 years old. Yoyo enjoys her retirement and companionship with Gabi! |

(2001 mare Leased by KCSH) Retired 2017 Quixotic KC by Qredit; Inspection site Champion Colt (USEF # 5685321) 2015 Couture KC by Cunningham; Premium filly 2013 QashnQarry by Qredit (deceased before inspection) Gucci started off as Dani Dunne's multi-tasker taking part in competitions in just about every sport horse discipline! She came to KCSH and was bred to Qredit in 2012. Sadly, baby Qash died when he was only a couple months old, we were devastated. In 2014 Gucci was bred to Cunningham (Cassini I)
and in 2015 produced a stunning filly, Couture KC aka Robin. Robin sold as an unstarted three year old back into Cunningham's owner's barn. She is winning all over the place as a Hunter Jumper with Team Slouka. In 2016 we were ready to breed Gucci back to Qredit for another Qash-like foal. 2017 brought us Quixotic KC aka Ducky, a virtual clone of baby Qash . Ducky kicked things off by being High Point Champion colt at his Oldenburg NA Inspection and then continued to excel with his new A/A owner, Sadie G. |
He was 4th in the CDS 4year old Futurity Championship against a large field of stellar 4year olds ridden by professionals. Gucci is now enjoying retirement in Colorado.

2005- Present 2022 still born by Diarado (Diamant de Semilly/Corrado) 2020 Catania KC by Capone I 2017 Confinato KC by Contefino 2016 Chicago KC by Capone I (see video below) 2013 Clancy by Alcamera La Silla (Selle Francais) A'Chloe aka Puma, was a phenomenal athlete but having had a rough start she was tricky to deal with, all of her progeny thus far have been kind, willing, and athletic. Puma is by the Dutch stallion Consul (proven via DNA and certified by KWPN-NA) and has consistently produced tremendous athleticism, excellent movement, and lovely temperaments. All of her riding age offspring are talented over fences with spectacular canters. Puma's two Capone I offspring are being developed by Tristar Farm, the Haunerts. Clancy and Confinato aka Opie are ridden and shown by Juniors.

Cassie was lightly started as a three year old and was simultaneously bred to produce her first offspring as a four year old. She then intermittently worked as a riding horse and as a broodmare. Recently she attended the CDS Horse of the Year and USDF Regional Championship Show and finished 8th in both classes all while carrying this Gaudi foal! (USEF # 5676983) Cassie received a 74% on her 2017 Mare Performance Test with the ISR/Oldenburg N.A., was upgraded to their Premium Mare Book, and was ranked 3rd High Point Mare on the West Coast. Cassie is in foal to Louisville HTF for 2023. On 9/12/22 Cassie's colt by Gaudi SSF was Premium and High Point Champion of his Inspection which earned Cassie her second Star Award. At the same inspection, Cassie's daughter, Schoneslicht KC, was awarded Premium Mare and solidified Cascade's first Star Award by having earned a 74% in her Mare Performance Test AND having produced two Premium Mares!

She has developed into a lovely dressage mare and is currently showing at Training and First Level. In 2020 she passed her Mare Performance Test with a 72% (jumping is not her "thing"). Naia recently returned from Rancho Murieta after competing in the CDS Horse of the Year and USDF Regional Championships. She consistently scored in the low to mid 70%s and finished in the top ten in all her classes against some very stiff competition. (USEF # 5661322) Naia is Nationally ranked by USDF: 6th in the All Breed Awards for Oldenburg NA and 113th in the USA at First Level. Naia had a 2022 Gaudi SSF colt via embryo transfer and she is in foal to Fidertanz for 2023!
Naia was represented this year for entry into one of the Oldenburg NA mare books and received 108 points placing her squarely into the Premium Mare Book and thereby earning her second Star Award! Naia was 2022 Oldenburg NA Champion Mare on the West Coast.

2004- Present 2023 bred to Louisville HTF (Lord Leatherdale/Negro) 2022 Gaia KC by Gaudi SSF (Totilas/DeNiro) ; missed Premium by one tenth of a point :/ but received the highest score for movement/gaits of the Inspection! Zaffira was imported by Nick Wagman's (Tokyo Alternate) sponsor for him to compete. The pair did well together through PSG (USEF # 5069929), when Z suffered a debilitating injury to her left hind. Zaffira made her way to Kastel Coz three years ago and no serious effort was made to breed her until 2021. She was presented to Oldenburg NA for Inspection and was entered into the Premium Mare Book.

Violet had her first foal in 2010, a filly by Riverman, Riviera aka Ribit. Not only was Ribit a Premium filly but Violet was entered into the Oldenburg NA Premium Mare Book and was then ranked 3rd on the West Coast. She was sold in foal to Qredit (Quaterback) in 2012, had at least 3 more foals, and then subsequently was bought back in 2018. She currently has a stunning yearling filly by Sternlicht who was Inspection site Champion along with at least two of her other foals while sold.

2019 Abraxas KC c. by Ace ( Acobat II) Tori came to Kastel Coz fresh from the Thermal Desert Series Hunter Jumper Show. She was successfully campaigned at 1.40 meters by Tami Masters with at least one Grand Prix win in her USEF show record (Shown as NJK NoTorious; USEF#5283029). A pelvic injury impacted her right lead canter and was the ultimate cause of her semi-retirement. Tori was bred to Wild Turkey Farm's stallion ACE as soon as she arrived. She produced a dynamite colt that showed us his stuff by casually jumping out of his 1.50 meter enclosure as a yearling! Tori recently lost a foal by the illustrious stallion Balou du Rouet.

On paper Romina is as versatile as she is under saddle. The combination of her and Limoncello II has produced an incredible youngster that is poised to go out and excel in whatever he does. She is kindly leased to us by Lisa Cleary. Charlotte is by a thoroughbred stallion out of a Wertherson mare. Wertherson is especially renowned for his daughters so this bodes well for Miss Charlotte! Char is wonderfully sweet and was successful in the H/J arena with absolutely NO stop and auto changes (USEF # 5267389), until a stifle injury sidelined her competition career. Charlotte is open and ready for a custom breeding in early 2024! |
